Plane Fare, Rental Car, Hotel, Food, Etc. (8+ days) Paid In Advance Flat Fee

  1. Labor to travel round trip to the customer location.
  2. Labor to assemble steel shelving.
  3. Labor to install 2 x 6 T & G flooring in three shelves.
  4. Labor to install wooden side guards on shelving.
  5. Labor to cut inter-shelf boards for jar shelf second course separation.
  6. Labor to transfer all jar boxes to counter and unpack and discard plastic keeping cardboard box.
  7. Labor to label Food CODE, and month/year on the covers for each jar.
  8. Labor to carbon dioxide fill 624 – 1/2 gal mason jars with customer’s food.
  9. Labor to install and shake down jars and install the protective cover and place jars on the shelves.
  10. Labor to carbon dioxide fill 12 – 5-gallon pails and load on shelf base floor.
  11. Labor to clean up areas at the end of each day.
  12. Labor to teach customer how to CO2 pack jars and other foods.

**We do not clean jars before filling with food. If the customer prefers, the customer can place 12 jars in the dishwasher which will require 52 loads to clean all the jars. Jars and covers must be completely dry before filling with food which usually requires 24 hours drying time. This must be completed before our technician arrives if the customer chooses to do this.
